Types of stresses
The basic stresses that a body may have to support are compression , tension, bending, torsion and shear.
Conditions for strong structures
One essential characteristic for any structure is that it must be strong, so it must be rigid, in equilibrium and stable.
Equilibrium: A body is in equilibrium when its structure remains stationary.
Rigidity: If a material is rigid, it does not change shape when force is applied.
Stability: A body is in stable equilibrium if it does not move when a force is applied to it.

Structures
A structure is a cololectiion of elements arranged in an optimum way to support a body or and object.
There exist four types of structures, mass strucrures, frame structures, truss structures and suspended structures.
Forces, Stresses and Strength.
A force is an influence that can deform a body or change its movement, or produce motion in a body at rest.
Stresses are the physical demands that a body or object must withstand when one or more external forces are applied to it.
The strength of a material is its ability to withstand external forces without breaking.

Vocabulary
Auixiliary dimension line: Any of the lines used to accurately delimit dimension lines.
Cavalier perspective: Perspective that allows usn to view objects in 3D with one 90ºangle and two 135ºangles.
Dimension, to: To indicate on the drawing of a figure the actual measurements that are needed to define it.
Dimension line: Any of the lines used to indicate measurements; these lines are drawn parallel to the line that they measure.
Extruder:The part in a 3D printer that picks up the plastic filament and deposits the exact amount on the print bed.
Front elevation: Main view of an object; it is always the most representative part of a figure.
GCODE: File format understood by 3D printers.
Isometric perspective: Perspective that allows us to view objects in 3D with three 120º angles.
Left or right elevation: View from the left-or right-hand side of the front elevation.
Plan: View of the figure from overhead.
Slicing: Procedure in which slicing software determines how many layers of plastic are required for 3D printing.
Standardisation: Set of standards that regulates every element of technical drawing.

Andorid design
This is our android 3D design. We did it very quickly because is was a simply design.
It has been done by Yeray Galiana, Alejandro y Diego Garrido.
